YOU - CHOICE + BEHAVIOR + HABIT + COMPOUND = GOALS
Your habits are learned, therefore they can be unlearned. Get rid
of whatever enables your bad habits. You will never change your life
until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is
found in your daily routine. If you really want to maintain a good
habit, make sure you pay attention to it at least once a day, and you’re
far more likely to succeed. New habits work when they are inside your
life and lifestyle. They must fit into your schedule. Don’t focus on
what you have to lose, but rather on what you will replace it with.
Attention feeds the habit.
To reach new goals and develop new habits, it’s necessary to create new routines to support your objectives. Create 3 MVPs -
'most valuable priorities'
to accomplish each day simultaneous to reviewing your short and
long-term goals for approximately 15 minutes. Connect with the world
after you’ve connected with you and your goals; and after connecting
with the world, go back to working on your goals. Always ‘cash out’ at
the end of each day. Check if you accomplished your goals and what you
will add to tomorrow, new ideas, etc...Control the start and finish of
your days, but toss the middles around continuously. Set boundaries and
calendars for special events and practices.
“Life is simply a collection of experiences; our goal
should be to increase the frequency and the intensity of the good
experiences.”
